Pine Beetle Information

NWFPD will burn slash and trees.  Their contact information is on their site: http://www.nwfpd.net/
Aside from immediate removal to be burned, the time for preventive action this year has passed.
As you'll see on the link below, "the cutting of live trees is not recommended during the period of June through September.  Cutting during this time may attract beetles to the area, especially if the slash and/or wood are to remain on site."
